As long as you are truthful and not too opinionated about what we felt they did was so bad then I cannot see why you would be sued. You can try the BBB or Angies list if you would like to describe what they failed to do there. "Shoddy" home repairs can be somewhat subjective at times depending on who is judging the work that was done. If repairs fail to meet building codes etc. that is another area. If you have taken this up with those that failed to do what you felt was right to no avail then complain away or at least make it known the company may not be that reputable.

First you have to know if you can file an Internet complaint and then where. You have not addressed these two issues yet.

I would suggest you also file a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Go online and put in the complaint with the BBB for your area. I have filed up to about 4 complaints against companies, and even if the company is not registered with the BBB, they will still keep the complaint on file for others to view. They are very good with updating you via email, with the status.. Or it is very user friendly where you can also inquire on the complaints you have made..

There really aren’t many internet complaint options. You could visit Ripoffreport.com or similar and post your experiences, but that’s all it is, just a site to tell others. You won’t get any remedy for posting it, and most people won’t even know about it. Kind of like word of mouth to your friends and neighbors.

And, like word of mouth, it’s not slander (spoken) or libel (printed) if it’s opinion. (In American, at least.) It’s only slander when you lie in open public by stating facts that are not true. Even then, in order to sue you, the company has to prove that you knew the statements to be untrue.
